Assist the Activity Coordinator with activities implementation of a multi-sensory based recreational program by providing outlets of physical, social, emotional, and religious expression.

High school diploma or GED required.

First Aide and CPR Certification (preferred) provided by The Highlands at Wyomissing.

1-3 years recretational experience in Personal Care or Assisted Living environments preferred.

4-5 years experience working with older adults in a long term care or demential facility preferred.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  Knowledge of Microsoft products. Outstanding customer service ability, patient sensitivity, consistency, kindness, and an aptitude for working with cognitively impaired senior adults.

Working hours will be:

Tuesdays from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Thursday's from 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Every other weekend and every other holiday will be required.
